About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant. This position resides within the Finance group and specifically reports directly to the Branch Banking Reporting Manager. This specific position will be responsible for delivering Branch Banking ad-hoc and production reports. This position will serve as an
integral part of Branch Banking Reporting Team that is responsible for delivering reports that are distributed out to employees supporting all levels of Branch Banking from executive leadership to branch employees and support partners. This team also identifies opportunities to create automation and
efficiencies within the data processing across the organization. The candidate will be responsible for reports covering various topics such as: customer experience, activity, growth, and the Branch Performance P&L, which aligns and help drive business outcome. We are seeking creative artistic candidates with the ability to craft and maintain reports, dashboards, and tools using an innovative and unique approach.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design and implementation of reports and dashboards across various topics and define required supporting data architecture.
  • Support simple to complex ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Advise line of business, companywide functions, and more experienced leadership on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, predictive scenario modeling, and other complex data to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards.
  • Manipulate and process large datasets using analytical and reporting features of multiple tools.
  • Provide leadership in the identification and development of new reporting concepts and designs.
  • Define requirements for and test data sources for reporting.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams and provide guidance and training to teams in asking appropriate questions, interpreting data, and translating into action.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
  • Assist managers and leaders in building reporting dashboards for business partners supported.
  • Mentor or manage more less experienced staff, interns, and external contractors.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using Power BI
  • Experience with SQL Server including Visual Studio/SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • In depth knowledge of Wells Fargo database environments (CBDW, C2T/MDSS, BMG, EIW, and Hemisphere)
  • Experience mentoring and serving as a peer-coach to other analysts
  • Ability to transfer skills and knowledge to peers
  • Experience using SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
  • Strong presentation skills – written and verbal, and the ability to adapt to multiple audiences
  • Strong critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus and a passion for the customer experience and the employee experience
  • Ability to take apart existing processes to find the issue and build a new process to resolve it
  • Ability to create and execute on logical process flows
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage processes, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Proven success building and maintaining strong credible relationships with key stakeholder
  • Ability to partner closely with technology to drive the appropriate data solutions

Pay Range

$96,600.00 - $171,800.00 Annual
