The Role

The Workcell assembler position works to ensure that production of medical and air units is performed in a safe and efficient manner. This position works closely with other team members in a joint effort to produce quality products that meet or exceed the customers' expectations.

Roles and Responsabilities
  • The Workcell assembler is part of an assembly team that operates under the direction of the Production Supervisor.
    Principle responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assembly of medical air and medical vacuum units based on the production schedule
  • Pull and check all parts before performing the assemble process
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Build units according to specifications as defined by the customer

What we expect of you?

Experience

A minimum of 1-3 years of assembly experience within a manufacturing facility

Education

High school diploma (or equivalent) with some technical school training (or equivalent work experience)

Skills
  • Must have strong mechanical and electrical skills and the ability to read and understand blueprints, schematic, and work instructions
  • Must have excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Prior use of basic hand and power tools used in manufacturing
  • Must also be able to work independently
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability to achieve results
