We are looking for a Cardiopulmonary Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our extraordinary nursing team at the University of Maryland Shore Regional Health.

UM Shore Regional Health's Centers for Cardio-Pulmonary Fitness & Wellness, located at UM Shore Medical Centers at Chestertown, Dorchester and Easton, provide a safe and supervised setting for cardiac rehabilitation and pulmonary rehabilitation. Personal exercise programs are designed to help patients meet their specific goals using a wide selection of professional cardiovascular and resistance training equipment with built-in monitoring systems.

Our primary staff includes highly-trained registered nurses and clinical exercise physiologists who offer guidance, monitoring, support, and a record of superior outcomes. As needed, you will also have access to additional health care professionals such as respiratory therapists, dieticians, social workers, clinical pharmacists, diabetes educators, and physical therapists. Your referring physician is always part of the team, too. Patients must be referred to the Centers for Cardio-Pulmonary Fitness & Wellness by their physician.

All UM Shore Regional Health Centers for Cardio-Pulmonary Fitness and Wellness are accredited by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • More than 12 months nursing experience
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required
  • BSN or Specialty Certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Must meet all unit specific certification requirements (ACLS, PAL, NRP)
  • Relevant clinical work experience related to practice on the unit
  • Must meet all applicable federal, state, and local professional requirements
