LinQuest is seeking a Test Specialist - Principal to support the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) in Ft. Huachuca, AZ.

The Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) is responsible for the oversight of all DISA test and evaluation (T&E) within DISA. The mission of the JITC labs at Fort Meade and Fort Huachuca is to enable the successful transition of joint acquisition IT systems from developmental testing to fielding through early and continuous involvement in the program life cycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and validates the results of software, hardware, or interoperability testing.
  • Designs a data analysis structure (i.e., the types of data a test must generate and how to analyze that data).
  • Determines an appropriate level of test rigor for a given system.
  • Designs, develops, and documents overall program Test & Evaluation strategies and identifies Test & Evaluation infrastructure (people, ranges, tools, instrumentation) requirements.
  • Manages test assets, test resources, and test personnel to ensure effective completion of test events.
  • Prepares Test & Evaluation plans and reports in accordance with JITC standards.
  • Translates data and test results into evaluative conclusions.
  • Able to read and write automated test procedures and scripts in a currently supported programming language (e.g., Java, C++) and/or using common testing tools (e.g. LoadRunner, Selenium).
  • Understands computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies and risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
  • Responsibilities include task management, administration, T&E functions, technical report writing, and effective communications with the customer base.
  • Understand financial management, funding requirements, and daily/weekly reporting requirement to both the external and internal customer.
  • Advises on the design of testing, executing the test, collects and analyzes test data, and interprets test results for the customer.
  • Understands type of systems under test (SUT) and the operational employment of the SUT.
  • Performs analytical work in support of testing, evaluation, and certification of IT/NSS related to military intelligence and ISR.
  • Incorporates DoD and Intelligence Community interoperability directives and instructions in all T&E processes.
  • Intelligence T&E support areas include developmental, operational, standards conformance, enterprise, and interoperability.
  • Follows and applies common T&E processes that include identify requirements, verify user needs, develop evaluation approach, collect data, analyze data, and report on findings.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates IT system operations.
  • Reviews and analyzes blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Additional certifications may be used to substitute up to 5 years of experience or the educational requirements with each certification being equivalent to one year of experience and 4 certifications being equivalent to the education requirement.
  • Must be able to review, analyze, and interpret customer information.
  • An active TS/SCI is required to be considered for this position.
