Responsibilities for this position include:

- Plan, organize, and coordinate work of mechanics on crew
- Ensure quality and timeliness of work is completed within budgeted parameters
- Assign and status MACPAC work orders/coordinate operational schedule
- Ensure that all safety policy and procedures are followed
- Support and administer labor contract
- Communicate with other supervisors to help achieve and maintain smooth work flow and high degree of productivity
- Use electronic WFM time keeping to maintain employees' time and overtime daily


- High School diploma or GED

- BIW Apprenticeship Graduate


- Solid knowledge of stage building procedures and practices
- Solid understanding of shipbuilding processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities

- Minimum of one year experience in Stage building
- Previous supervisory experience in a production environment
