Identify, solicit, develop, manage, service, retain and grow long-term profitable business banking relationships for companies with $2MM to $5MM in annual sales. Offer a full range of loan, deposit, and fee-based services to new and existing business banking clients. Refer additional client needs identified through the appropriate channel according to Integrated Relationship Management (IRM). Levels (I – II) should be differentiated based on years of banking experience and overall potential in the role per leadership discretion.Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Leverage the Truist Sales Process and Financial Insights to consistently deliver a differentiated client experience in all client, prospect and center of influence (COI) interactions.
2. Manage, service and grow an assigned book of business banking clients. Execute on prospecting activities to grow new business banking households.
3. Focus on driving continual improvement in portfolio revenue growth and new production revenue.
4. Proactively contact clients to fully develop business banking relationships by executing on Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) principles. Include the identification of all business and personal financial needs and bring in the appropriate partners to deliver Truist solutions.
5. Monitor, maintain and update sales activity, pipeline, and other pertinent information using the Bank's client relationship management (CRM) system.
6. Execute on all risk, operational, policy and quality expectations related to assigned client portfolio.
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, or equivalent education and related training
2. More than three (3) years of experience in banking industry or related work experience
3. Possess an understanding of major technical aspects of underwriting, loan structure and deposits, and have a clear understanding of credit and finance
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Proven self-starter with problem-solving abilities
6. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
7. Very organized and efficient with demonstrated attention to detail and follow-up
8. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
