We are looking for associate-level engineers to join our team. We have several opportunities available with teams in both Seal Beach - Customer Support and Long Beach - SoCal Global Design Center. We are looking for aerospace, aerodynamics, airplane performance, mechanical, electrical, systems, and software engineers to support Airframe, Maintenance, Systems, Structures, Propulsion, Flight Operations, and Fleet Chief Office teams.

The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite in Seal Beach, California or Long Beach, California (actual job location to be determined based on business needs). This position may allow some telecommuting depending on business needs.

Work Authorization:

  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop requirements that will be incorporated into new airplanes, airplane repairs, or modifications

  • Create hardware and/or software designs

  • Prepare technical documents for components and systems

  • Prepare manuals used for flight operations and airplane maintenance

  • Develop airplane performance data used by airline customers to perform flight planning and operations

  • Work directly with suppliers and customers to ensure effective system integration and customer satisfaction

  • Provide technical solutions and troubleshooting for factory build and test

  • Perform detailed investigations and analyses to preclude safety issues

  • Resolve structural issues to help return airplanes into service

  • Assist in the development of in-house tools to enable efficient performance of engineering tasks

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

  • 1-3 years of industry experience

OR

  • Master’s degree in engineering

  • At least one year of internships

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Previous aerospace industry experience.

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with at least 1 year of experience in engineering internships. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering.
