Senior Logistics Presales Specialist (**Job Number:** 2210015 )

**Position Summary:**

The Senior Logistics Presales Specialist will own and manage processes within the first stages of the Logistics sales cycle. This role serves as the central point of contact for all process information and will own communication and messaging with internal and external groups in regards to the status and outcomes of the process they are managing. The Senior Logistics Presales Specialist will have a focus on building and maintaining our system data and data quality in Salesforce as well as tracking and reporting of specified information for business analysis and visibility. This role will also assist with mentoring, coaching and training Logistics Presales Specialists, and continue to support the group with creating customer content for the Sales Team through RFPs and presentations, as well as completing RFI and other informational sales documents.

**Major Responsibilities:**

**Process Control**

-Evaluate information and make decisions based on the process controls and guidelines

-Responsible for communication for all channels and stakeholders regarding status of the process information and/or outputs

-Provide feedback and best practices to leadership in order to continually improve process and efficiency

**Quality Outputs**

-Maintain quality and discipline to ensure data accuracy and efficiency

-Continually update, enhance and grow the sales data

-Provide visibility of process data to track performance and productivity

-Utilize reports to support business analytics and data driven decisions

**RFP/RFI & Presentations**

-Accountable for completing documents and coordinating with all SMEs to get document completed

-Accountable for pulling all parts of the sales strategy/solution into a visually effective PowerPoint presentation, presentation should reflect Logistics standards and be customized to suit customer’s situation

**Monthly Reporting:** Interface with leadership to pull sales data together and provide summary of findings and communicate to proper associates in the region

**VIP Visits:** Engage with sales leadership and key customer contacts to understand needs in order to facilitate a customized visit to Penske locations

**Training:** Coach/train/mentor LPSs on RFP/RFI and customer presentation processes. Train news sales team members on sales process, leveraging sales tools and how to interact with LPS. Facilitate Roadmap to Success activities for all new sales associates. Train and maintain Salesforce user compliance.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing (or related field) required.

- 3-5 years minimum experience designing technical and creative PowerPoint presentations required.

- 3-5 years minimum experience working with CRM tools preferred.

- Strong written/oral communication skills are required.

- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills, both technical and creative required.

- Ability to connect and build rapport / relationships with internal and external customers at all levels.

- Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects / work streams.

- Project Management experience highly preferred.

- Prior experience interfacing with C-Level executives preferred.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.

- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

- Willingness to travel up to 20%, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
