Salesforce Program Manager - Remote
Job Description Summary
The Salesforce Program Manager drives the implementation, customization, configuration, and integration of our Salesforce platform with other internal systems and external tools. Own the end-to-end delivery of initiatives including managing all dependencies to and from the Salesforce ecosystem.
Job Description
  • Help drive end-to-end technology delivery for our business globally to agreed schedule, scope and budget
  • Define scope and deliverables that support organizational objectives in partnership with the business, IT, project teams, steerco and other stakeholders
  • Develop project plans & timelines as required; participate in ongoing project planning activities to include schedule development, resource allocation, issue prioritization, risk management, communication planning
  • Ensure governance framework is documented (updated as needed), and followed for all projects under the salesforce programs
  • Lead timely resolution of key issues, decisions, escalations, and risks. Identify and track risks and response recommendations. Implement mitigation plans as needed
  • Identifies and manages program dependencies and critical path
  • Remove barriers to success in a proactive and collaborative manner
  • Makes certain program communications are consistent and appropriate for the size and profile of the initiatives
  • Ensure timesheets are up to date and reflective of current workload
  • Manage relationships with variety of stakeholders to influence and negotiate timelines and deliverables. Clearly communicates any changes to situation or scope
  • Prepare and maintain detailed and accurate reports including executive updates, progress and health updates, RAID items, budget
  • Facilitate regular status meetings with stakeholders and teams. Participate in other project and program meetings as required
  • Adhere to PMO guidelines and standard tools/templates
  • Ensure that the projects are smoothly handed over to the business and Operational Support following a formal gate review process
  • Ensure closure activities are completed. Facilitates and documents lessons learned
  • Responsibilities may vary within the range of tasks and activities described
  • Assist with vendor management and procurement operations as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required preferably in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems
  • PMP certification preferred
  • CSM or other Agile certification preferred
Knowledge & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in CRM program management, in a global environment, with a keen understanding of team dynamics, product development/engineering, product management, and commitment to agile development methodologies
  • Proven track record of successfully leading enterprise business transformation projects including 5-7 years project management experience, with minimum 3 years leading Salesforce initiatives with high complexity, visibility and impact
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations at all levels of the organization, including C-level and senior stakeholders
  • Experience working in agile development, including tools like JIRA and Smartsheets
  • Excellent written and verbal group and interpersonal communication skills including presentations and executive reporting
  • Critical thinking; analytical and problem-solving expertise
  • Business background, preferably in commercial real estate
  • Highly organized and flexible approach with ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Management of remotely located project teams in a global setting is essential
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, resolve conflicts with users, and work autonomously to solve problems
  • Excellent communication skills; able to compellingly articulate Salesforce's capabilities and offerings to audiences with varying levels of technical skill and seniority
