Project Engineer Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with the project manager to assist with administrative and technical aspects of our projects
  • Prepare and maintain project documents, including RFI’s, change orders, submittals, and O&M manuals
  • Provide support to the project manager and the field personnel to ensure the work is performed according to plans and specifications and the project schedule
  • Perform quantity take-offs and assist with the completion of project estimates
  • Solicit and review quotes and submittals from vendors
  • Maintain as-built drawings
  • Prepare and track construction schedules as necessary
  • Equipment and procurement and tracking
  • Schedule job site deliveries
  • Participate in project meetings as necessary for coordination with the general contractor and other subcontractors
  • Visit project job sites to maintain coordination with field personnel and track project progress
  • Coordinate construction activities throughout the duration of the project
  • Maintain a positive relationship with general contractors and vendors
  • Communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants
  • Follow company and job site safety policies and procedures


Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in the construction industry or a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Able to read architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plan sets and specifications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail and quality
  • Must be willing to learn, improve and adapt
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing as well as verbally
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with good problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Office suites (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)

Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000
