Our Chemical Manufacturing Client in Piedmont, SC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler. If this sounds like the right fit for you, read on and apply!  

Pay: $18/hr

Work schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm (NO WEEKENDS!)

What’s a typical day as a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler? You will:      

  • Unload Raw Materials from unit storage tanks

  • Load materials into supersacks, hopper trucks, machines hoppers

  • Provide assistance to floor operators as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as, standing, walking and lifting product up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to write legibly
  • Ability to perform repetitive work
  • Knowledge of safety requirements or procedures, including certification for machine operation
  • Ability to use arm and hand movements to handle materials and product
  • Forklift experience (preferred)
