Come and join the Software and Informatics Division (SID), one of Agilent's strongest and fastest growing Divisions in Agilent businesses responsible for the collection and analysis of data produced by Agilent’s instruments in a FDA compliant and non-compliant environments.  The Software and Informatics Division (SID) of the Life Sciences and Applied Markets Group (LSAG) is embarking on our next stage of transformative growth that will require greater synergies across our product lines to enable a customer-centric software and digital ecosystem. We are looking for a highly motivated and capable Software Architect to join the team and lead this software and digital transformation.

 

Digital continues to be an important area of growth and on-going investment for Agilent. As the SID Software Architect, you will be responsible for the coordination, alignment and harmonization of Software Architecture across LSAG in order to achieve a differentiated LSAG-wide digital lab strategy in coordination with broader Enterprise Software and Instrumentation roadmaps and initiatives. Using your extensive software architectural knowledge and experience, as well as an understanding of the latest digital, cloud and IoT technologies, you will collaborate with a team of product line-specific Software Architects to achieve the digital transformation of the analytical lab. 

 

In this role, you will

  • Work with the Division Leadership teams to define the technical Architecture based on the business strategy and transform it into technical structured product. 
  • Design and develop products, in both Cloud and SaaS deployments using broad engineering concepts and research techniques especially cloud and SaaS. 
  • Investigate new technologies, observe trends, and adopt them if suitable. 
  • Lead the Architecture, design, delivery of new state of the art products and solutions, processes, service technology advancements. 
  • Be able to assist in the detailed architecture, design, development, and testing of the various subsystems including tools required for Agilent products and services through the entire product life cycle. 

This position can be performed anywhere in the US.  The salary range for this position may differ based on your actual work location.  For CO, the salary range is $135,283 - $220,188.
