Job Description:

The Segment Consolidation and Reporting team is part of the Consolidated Reporting, Analysis & Revenue Forecasting horizontal organization that supports the broader Consumer & Wealth Management businesses. The primary focus of the team is the coordination and consolidated reporting of corporate deliverables among the Consumer and GWIM finance teams. Our business partners include Business Financial Officers (BFOs) / Global Expense Management (GEM) / Global Financial Control (GFC) / Corporate Planning / Investor Relations / SEC & Reg Reporting / Stress testing, other business support horizontals teams, among many others. The Segment Consolidation horizontal team is composed of approximately 35 employees primarily located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, and Newark, DE.

The teammate in this role is responsible for partnering across Consumer & WM Finance and Central Corporate Finance teams to consolidate, analyze and report financials related to multiple central processes for Consumer & WM finance including: Weekly outlooks, Month-End Close, Quarter-End reporting, Baseline & Stress Forecasting, Client Balance reporting, Retail & Preferred Segmentation, and Governance & Controls. Responsibilities include maintaining transparency with executives and senior leaders while ensuring reporting is accurate and in line with partner expectations. As part of the responsibilities of the role, the teammate will develop business partner relationships across all revenue and expense finance teams, and line of business / support partner contacts as applicable. Throughout the tenure of the role, the teammate should gain exposure and acumen in both Consumer & WM products, including Balance Sheet, GWIM Client Balances, Revenue, Provision and Expense, and develop or improve a broader understanding of Consumer & WM strategy.

This role works closely with the respective finance teams to consolidate and analyze results, related variances, and key driver commentary, while offering cross functional business partnering opportunities between Consumer & WM finance, Essbase, FAR, FTP, Allocations, and Allowance teams. Some unique experiences gained on this team include a full Income Statement and Balance Sheet view of the Consumer & WM businesses, exposure to all the Consumer & WM products along with the continued development of automation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and FactSet.

Required Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting) and/or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of professional / demonstrated work experience within financial services industry
• General Ledger / EPM / Essbase Proficiency
• Advanced Excel and Data Manipulation skills
• Highly organized and proactive
• Strong communication skills - able to communicate concepts both verbally and in written form
• Detail oriented with control mindset
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines
• Approaches work with curiosity and interest to drive continuous process improvement
• Adaptable, ability to work independently in a fast paced, results driven environment with changing priorities
• Seeks to build relationships and collaborate with teammates
