Associate In Research: Biostatistics/Epidemiology
Join the Department of Population Health Sciences at Duke University (Durham, NC, USA) on a high-impact project in collaboration with the Duke University Health System. Under the guidance of Dr. Brad Hammill, the successful applicant will analyze healthcare utilization data —including both claims and electronic health record data—with the goal of identifying evidence-based opportunities for improvements in care delivery protocols to improve patient outcomes.
Candidates should have an advanced degree in (bio)statistics, epidemiology, or a related discipline, and a strong background in statistical analysis. The position requires proficiency in SAS-based data analysis, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively at the interface of statistical analysis, public health, and epidemiology. The successful candidate is expected to have a track record of publication in peer-reviewed journals.
The appointment is for one year, and may be renewed for an additional year pending funding availability and performace.
