ManTech is seeking a junior-journey level risk analyst to become an integral part of our Combat Integration and Identification Systems Engineering team.  Successful candidates are responsible for gathering and analyzing information from multiple Navy and Contractor entities to prepare reports and documents, track action items and mitigations to closure, effectively solve problems, recommend improvements, and actively keep division leadership informed of status. In addition, the risk analyst will work with leadership to identify, assess, and prioritize risks. Qualified candidates will have some experience supporting the DOD; particularly in the area risk management, analysis, and mitigation, and should be comfortable with collection, reviewing and presenting data to DOD customers and support personal. Position is a hybrid of on-site and remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project leads with drafting, updating, and reviewing risks and opportunities and associated mitigation steps, and preparing them for presentation
  • Assist project leads with tracking risk mitigation steps to closure
  • Support managers in developing a risk management plan and assist with planning, monitoring, prioritizing risks, and performing risk mitigation planning
  • Reviewing, updating, and managing configuration of technical documentation
  • Providing oversight of small projects and improvement initiatives
  • Analyzing and updating processes for improved efficiency
  • Provide monthly status updates on risks for all projects to Division Branch Heads and Principal Engineer

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 0-5 years of experience
  • Must have a secret clearance to start

Desired Qualifications:

  • Candidates should be self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience using Microsoft tools is critical as various programs are used for status tracking, technical editing, presenting information, providing earned value metrics, and responding quickly to data calls
