The System Infrastructure Development (SID) group is looking for a motivated and self-driven Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Test Systems Design Engineer.  This engineer will have design and troubleshooting responsibilities of the custom Input/Output (I/O) systems used to support the next generation of submarines, and planned technology refreshes of deployed Composite Test Facilities (CTF) located in building P6.    

The selected candidate will join a growing and well-established team delivering products to support I&C software testing and Navy Crew Familiarization.  Practical engineering and project management skills are required to accomplish all test systems related efforts.  The selected candidate will be expected to work closely with more experienced SID team members as well as interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders across multiple projects.  These stakeholders include cross-site Bettis counterparts, Naval Reactors, Software Qualification, Power Plant Engineering, Real-time Modeling/Simulation, and Information Technology.
