Graphics Coordinator – Atlanta, GA


WestRock Consumer Packaging Beverage Division is currently seeking a Graphics Coordinator in the following area: Atlanta, Georgia 


The Opportunity:

The Graphics Coordinator will handle project management and the coordination of all pre-press activities involved with new products, promotions and Graphics revisions within WestRock Beverage Division.  Act as liaison between WestRock converting plants, vendors, designers, and customers, ensuring that all required materials are accurate and within the specified timelines to meet schedules. Typically, this position handles the larger, more difficult/complex, and/or demanding accounts.


How You Will Impact WestRock:

·        Educate and inform internal and external customers of artwork and manufacturing requirements. (specifications).

·        Artwork/Graphics files in specification for generating printing plates, supplied accurately, and within established timelines. (Monthly mistake rate)        

·        Producing plants will receive Graphics working materials within established timelines.  (Paper color proofs, CxF/miff files, color standards, draw-downs, etc.).  (Monthly mistake rate)

·        When needed, attend production press runs

·        Utilize PIPE database system to communicate artwork/job requirements.

·        Follow established SOP’s (standard operating procedures).

·        Meet the needs of both internal and external customers. Including, but not limited to, project management, clerical, and logistic responsibilities for non-graphic functions.

·        Routing of art related working materials. (PDF’s, Proofs, ink drawdowns, color standards, etc.)

·        Responsible for generating purchase orders for artwork for jobs separated by internal and external prepress suppliers.

What You Need to Succeed:

·        Graphics/Packaging Degree or Equivalent Work Experience 5-7 Years Minimum.

·        Advanced Knowledge of Printing Processes  ...  Flexography, and Offset.

·        Excellent Communication Skills, with ability to partner with team and work independently.

·        Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

·        Demonstrated Project Management Skills and Problem Solving Skills

·       General working knowledge of Adobe software. (Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.)

·       Mac experience desirable, as well as, Microsoft Office and Outlook.

·        Occasional overtime work required on weekdays and some weekends

·        Occasional on-call work required on weekdays and some weekends

·        Occasional overnight travel is required
