This position is part of PNC's C&IB Technology organization. As a Software Developer Lead (GOV), you will be responsible for the following:
-Incident detection, resolution and/or escalation. Conducts root cause analysis and correction resulting in prevention.
-Monitoring systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and reports trends. Reports out information to support stabilization.
-Developing in depth knowledge of supported systems and applications and transfers knowledge to more junior staff and Run The Bank staff.
-Leading application governance, such as required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries and complying with technology standards.
Specific Experience:
-Lockbox Development
-Works closely with Sales, Business Analysts, and Client Team to determine client customization needs and requirements.
-Suggest solution design that satisfies client requirements while maintaining system integrity and supportability.
-Writes custom code, tests, and deploys that code to support customization of Lockbox application
-Technical skills involved: C++, Perl, Python, Java Script, JSON, JCL and to a lesser extent, Unix command line
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Job Description
- Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
- Facilitates complex problem resolution.
- Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
- Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
