ASE is seeking an experienced Finance and Procurement Managerr to support the Department of Energy National Training Center.

The Finance and Procurement Manager:
  • Manages routine finance and accounting requirements.
  • Records bookkeeping entries and chart of accounts management.
  • Manages accounts receivable & accounts payable.
  • Follows GAAP-level procedures and policies and ensures compliance.
  • Performs monthly, quarterly, annual reconciliations and close processes.
  • Administers industry tax requirements.
  • Prepares financial reports (internal and external).
  • Participates in strategic financial planning & analysis requirements.
  • Reviews travel expenses, audits and prepares the monthly vouchers, and reconciles accounts.
  • DOE NTC experience is desired.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have recent directly related experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience preparing internal and external financial reports
  • Experience performing monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations and close processes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain base access
