  • Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices and network protocols to ensure they comply with security policy, procedures, and technical requirement
  • Perform Systems Administration on Windows server based OS's
  • Perform Systems Administration on RedHat (RHEL) server based OS's
  • Recommend and schedule Information Assurance (IA) related repairs in the network environment
  • Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems
  • Run vulnerability and compliance assessments via ACAS and STIG's
  • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups
  • Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses
  • May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum three (3) years' of experience configuring or maintaining networks, performing system monitoring, updating/upgrading components, reviewing systems and application logs, performing backups, analyzing and troubleshooting network performance, conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, performing change management and ensuring system performance and availability
  • A.S. or B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree
  • COMPTIA Network or similar industry certification
  • Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) fundamentals
  • Expertise in IAT Level II network enterprise (NE) knowledge and skills
  • Active Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications:
  • Possess one (1) of the following DoD Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M
    • CCNA Security
      CySA **
      Security CE
