Controls Software Validation Engineer


We are looking for a talented Controls Software Validation Engineer to join our team in Columbus, IN / your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Test development and execution for SIL environments
  • Debugging and analyzing software issues/observations detected during testing
  • Support and provide feedback for test tool and process improvements
  • Documenting detailed test results and reporting anomalies
  • Validation of software changes from defect reports and change requests
  • Work with internal customers on prioritization of test development and execution


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant degree program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with embedded C software testing, including strong embedded C/MATLAB/Simulink skills.
  • Experience in SIL/MIL testing with SIL tools and Virtual ECU testing.
  • Knowledge in AUTOSAR architecture and Configuration Management tools such as PTC Integrity, GitLab, etc. is a plus.
  • ISTQB Foundation level certification
  • ISTQB Automotive Software Tester certification
