Role:

Operations support technician with ability to setup equipment, install software, setup PCs, verify procedures and support an electronics rework cell.

What we expect of you:
  • Respond to Production PC and Test equipment failures.
  • Work with test system engineers and suppliers to troubleshoot and correct problems.
  • Create and track IT tickets to resolution for production equipment.
  • Install and maintain computers and test systems in the production area.
  • Update and validate production software.
  • Support electronics work cell test systems
  • Sustain operator PCBA soldering and rework qualifications - JSTD 001 and or IPC 7711/21
  • Perform system restorations in case of any problem, or power failures.
  • Maintenance to production printers and copiers
  • Other activities related to the support of Manufacturing engineering and production test equipment
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
  • Experience with setting up PCs for production
  • Must have a drive to optimize test equipment uptime
  • Focused on achieving the goals set for the department.
  • Proficient with isolating problems in electro-mechanical test equipment
  • Able to solve problem using remote support
  • Skilled with wiring and soldering techniques
  • Soldering rework certified trainer or ability to achieve trainer certification
  • Computer Hardware/Software Knowledge.
  • Internet Applications and Networks
  • Minimum Associates Degree in Computer/Electronics Technology or 5 years directly related work experience
