Job Description:

The Mainframe Software Division within Broadcom is on a mission to deliver the best mainframe software. We are the leading ISV in the mainframe market. We pride ourselves in knowing our customers by name and need. As part of our team you will play a key role in shaping our strategy, deliverables and driving customer adoption.

The Product Management team is looking for an experienced Product Manager who can collaborate with diverse teams and is passionate about Workload Automation. A successful candidate will have a "customer-first" approach, will be highly analytical, and technical and can dive deep to solve complex problems to address the needs of the mainframe and capacity market. The ideal candidate will be able to understand customer and business needs and create a vision / strategy for scrum teams to execute on.

Interacts directly with customers, analysts, marketing, product managers, product owners, and the sales organization. Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and leading projects to completion. May identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives; provides pre- and post-sale marketing support to distributors, OEMs and resellers; and supports public relations through researching, writing and editing press releases.

  • Ability to clearly defined business objectives and technical requirements to achieve the business objectives
  • Ability to effectively run large projects with 5+ scrum teams
  • Ability to set a vision, define go-to-market strategy, and drive alignment across multiple teams
  • Work with partners to achieve higher adoption and increased value for the customers


  • 12+ years or more of mainframe experience
  • Deep understanding of workload automation market
  • Demonstrable market knowledge of mainframe and AIOps
  • Versed in Agile and SAFe
  • Bachelor's in a technical field
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Known and trusted member of the mainframe community
  • Pragmatic Institute certifications
  • Hands on experience with mainframe and Broadcom AIOps solutions
  • Management experience
