Department Overview

Enterprise Finance function supports the state side in various Finance related processes across the organization. There are various processes such as Asset Liability Management, Revenue and Expense Forecasting, Revenue Forecasting COE, Enterprise Controls & Oversight, Cost of Funds Reporting, Finance Operations like Mortgage Production Finance and Financial Analytics.

About the Role

This role requires understanding of various finance functions and the role requires performing a wide range of analysis related to Balance Sheet, Profitability, Financial modelling, Economic Scenario Analysis and related risk exposures.

This role requires knowledge of financial analysis and management reporting to support the enterprise, working with business partners in conducting in-depth research of financial statements, analyzing, interpreting and reporting findings. In addition, team member will closely work with multiple functions within Finance, Accounting, Regulatory, Risk, Operations and will be involved in strategic initiatives across the organization. 

         

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis , create dashboards for Management Reporting
  • LOB finance analysis, Forecast Operations support, Financial Modeling
  • Power BI development – Create reports/dashboards to replace excel and other embedded IT/End user computing tool reports.
  • Jira administration - onboarding customers, creating and editing tasks, requesting updates from customers, dashboard reporting, field and workflow editing
  • Software/License management - facilitating new Alteryx software/license requests, organization and reporting of license keys and license holders
  • Communications - maintaining email communication list and related data, arranging email communications, and teams channel administration
  • Access/Entitlement Support – Facilitate customer requests for server and storage drive access/entitlements
  • General Support and troubleshooting – Monitoring of service desk que and emails, quick response to customers, initial diagnoses of Alteryx issues and escalation to appropriate partners
  • Documentation – Document issue escalation procedures, updates to Alteryx playbook and policy docs, updates to Alteryx confluence site
  • Identifying process improvement / transformation opportunities and leading functional efforts in implementing improvement / transformation opportunities.
  • Providing direction to less experienced analysts and serving as a leader on key strategic projects.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance and execution of Governance & Oversight framework documentation and controls including reconciliation and variance analysis
  • Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders in the applicable line of business and other functions related to assigned process areas.
  • Assist in ad-hoc analysis/projects as and when necessary
  • Perform analytics for balance sheet and net interest income forecast presentation of results. Perform analytics for forecast key drivers such as Commercial Loan line utilization and New Volume Pricing. Data visualization through Alteryx, Power BI
  • Alteryx Development – Create workflows to automate manual processes and processes that are classified as embedded IT or EUCT's
  • Working in agile methodology and actively contributing in scrum calls
  • Perform actively with strategic pillar activities of the Organization

Essential Qualifications

  • MBA Finance / CA /CFA / CA -Inter / ICWA Inter with 8-10 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting and analyzing interest income and balance sheet behavior
  • Knowledge in Banking/Financial Services domain
  • Knowledge and understanding of processes related to Asset Liability Management
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Experience in Process / Business Transformation
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in data visualization tools like Alteryx, Power BI
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of MS excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Essbase, SQL, Teradata, Alteryx and Power BI

Desired Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in one or a combination of the following: financial analysis/ forecasting, accounting, financial reporting and analytics                                                                   
  • Ability to present to senior level executives
  • RPA solution development / implementation experience
  • Transition experience migrating work from USA to offshore centers
  • Strong critical thinking skills with ability to credibly challenge status quo; significant experience with continuous improvement of application control testing processes and results
  • Strong executive relationship management skills; ability to negotiate difficult positions without harming relationships
  • Alteryx, Teradata and Power BI skills
