LinQuest is seeking a Ground Subsystem Lead Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabamato join our team on successful award of the upcoming Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) System Integration, Test and Readiness (SITR) contract. Currently in the pre-solicitation phase, an award is anticipated in the September 2022 timeframe.

They will become a member of the multi-disciplinary team that supports the GMD Program Office, as Lead Systems Integrator, in all aspects of GMD interface management and verification. This includes interfaces internally within GMD components but also with the broader MDS elements, such as radars and space based sensors.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in systems engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Ten (10) years Ballistic Missile related Ground Electrical/Mechanical or related PM/technical/engineering leadership
  • Working knowledge of Ballistic Missile related standards, especially nuclear surety and safety.
  • Working knowledge of related Ground systems
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for the position.

Preferred Experience:

  • 10+ years of Ballistic Missile related Ground Electrical/Mechanical or related PM/technical/engineering leadership
  • Master's degree
