About this role:

Wells Fargo is embarking on a comprehensive modernization of its digital customer experience for Commercial Bank & Corporate and Investment Bank (CBCIB) clients. We help these businesses grow with financing, services and expertise. Our team also leads our Open Banking initiatives, which is about connecting our capabilities with other partners for fintech innovation at Wells Fargo scale.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams that maximize quality, efficiency and productivity
  • Evaluate the User Experience Design according to established policies and procedures of the organization
  • Work with clients to define issues and information needs and translating them into specific data/technical requirements to support business initiatives and projects
  • Determine the required capabilities, tools and data
  • Leverage and develop multiple internal or external information sources
  • Evaluate, recommend and implement strategies for developing and utilizing technical and analytic resources to enable initiatives that predict, improve, support and measure business success
  • Maintain necessary processes, controls and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations and policies
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the User Experience Design group
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Website or Application Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of Leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong in Visual Design
  • Strong visualization skills
  • Strong customer experience focus and understanding of user-centered design
  • Knowledge and understanding of prototyping tools like Figma or other prototyping tools
  • Proven execution track record in a Lean UX & Agile delivery model
  • Fierce customer experience focus
  • Experience designing for large scale mobile, web, api and omni-channel user experiences
  • Knowledge of interactive design including best practices in technology, usability and user experience
  • Experience working with digital design systems, developing style guides and managing the delivery of digital assets to development teams
  • Ability to interpret brand guidelines and adapt them for digital use
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective relation building capacity with business partners and internal teams at different levels in the organization
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior management and ability to articulate key messages in a straightforward and understandable manner
  • Must be detail oriented, well organized and be able to delegate
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize different tasks and be able to delegate to junior team members @RWF22

Pay Range

$133,300.00 - $237,100.00 Annual
