You Are

A Consumer Goods Industry expert with significant experience at the intersection of the business strategy and technology. Your expertise? Advising clients on data-driven consumer strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. As a senior manager , you’re a natural at building and bringing out the best in teams. And you’re a problem’s worst nightmare, thanks to your exceptional analytical and creative chops. You have proven ability to build and manage client relationships, and a proven track record of delivery on complex, impactful client engagements, major transformation efforts or internal projects. Communication and people skills? You have both in spades, along with a strong desire to work in an information systems environment.

The Role

+ Lead the delivery of the industry consulting offerings and programs at select CG&S clients in North America in coordination with Industry leadership team and Account leadership teams

+ Develop relationships with client leadership team (cross-functional)

+ Identify and support opportunities for Accenture to drive transformational value (across service lines) based on a deep understanding of the client’s strategy and the industry context

+ Assemble and support functional Accenture teams in developing and delivering winning propositions tailored to the client’s needs

+ Lead program/project delivery efforts in key strategic areas

+ Deliver on chargeability targets at level

+ Establish strong relationships with most leading CG&S players with large, diversified book of business

+ Grow the C-Suite presence and leading with strategic transformation propositions

+ Ability to present unique capabilities of the Firm – allowing us to drive transformations at a different level from our competitors

Here’s What You Need

+ Minimum 7 years professional experience at a consulting firm with relevant CG&S Industry experience.

+ Minimum of 3 years of client facing experience.

+ Bachelor’s degree or greater

Bonus Points if

+ 8 years industry experiences across CG&S segments, or comparable consumer-focused industries (e.g., Retail, Health – Pharma, etc.)

+ Primary sub-segments of Personal Care, Beauty/Fashion, Beverage

+ Location ideally in Midwest, Northeast or South

+ Consulting experience in CG&S industry beneficially (2-3 years)

+ Experience with major transformation efforts at clients in a lead role/as a key member of the delivery team

+ Proven ability to maintain client relationships during and beyond delivery efforts

+ 1-2 functional ‘majors’, ideally in the revenue/sales/supply chain planning/forecasting areas

+ Ability to have a dialogue with clients on strategic challenges/opportunities, with particular depth across function – analytics – platform implementations

+ Ability to deliver value propositions and lead across service lines – Strategy, Consulting, Operations, Tech, Interactive

+ Eagerness to learn and bring the Firm’s capabilities to the client (not just the individual team members’)

+ Team player with ability work with more diverse team – background, education, locations, experience levels, etc..

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
