The Hosted Rules QA Lead role will have primary ownership for the accuracy of changes within the FICO Decision Management Platform (DMP) decision engine for the LightStream business line.
The role will establish, execute, maintain, and automate testing and test reporting methodologies for rule enhancements as well as regression testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Formulate, design, and implement testing solutions for highly complex business logic. Assimilate and comprehend business and risk policies/requirements, as well as updates to these policies across multiple products and business lines. Plan, design, and manage large numbers of test cases to stay in synch with existing requirements and any new requirements. Ensure user experience considerations are incorporated into solution requirements and design. Develop, document and revise flow chart’s system design procedures, test procedures and quality standards. Review and analyze testing and performance against expected results. Develop test strategy (e.g. test plans, test cases, and test scripts) to comprehensively test assigned enhancements to business applications.  Partner with Engineers to define an effective testing approach for assigned enhancements or problems.  Maintain an expert knowledge of testing documentation and execution skills.  Maintain an expert business and operations knowledge of direct client’s policies and solutions. Stay current with emerging testing technologies and promote use of industry leading tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Exceptional understanding of testing principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies. Specialized knowledge of automated testing and reporting tools Previous experience in testing large-scale solutions. Effective verbal and written communication to provide information to others Experience with server communication protocols such as XML, Soap, JSON, etc. as well as testing tools such as SoapUI, PostMan, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and six years or more of related experience Banking or financial services experience Hands-on Decision Engine experience
