In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives on selected domains
  • Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
  • Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
  • Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
  • Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
  • Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Mentor less experienced software engineers
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of C# experience
  • 5+ years of application development experience
  • 5+ years of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) development experience
  • 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript
  • 5+ years of Web Application Development Experience (Angular, React, NodeJS)
  • 5+ years of Multi-Threading Experience
  • 5+ years of relational database experience
  • 3+ years of REST, gRPC, Web Services, or Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) development experience
  • 3+ years of experience with any Unit Testing frameworks and tools such as NUnit, NMock etc.
  • 3+ years of experience with SDLC and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence etc.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
  • Knowledge and understanding of network, distributed system, applications or event management disciplines
  • Extensive knowledge of any of the following Capital Markets discipline
    • Equity and equity derivative (options, futures, etc.) securities, risk and pricing, products booking, trading and life cycle management.
    • Securities Lending and Repo
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Good analytical skills including analyzing complex data
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation: impact analysis, detailed designs and unit test plans
  • Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions
  • Ability to achieve high production and quality standards
  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness a must.
  • Ability to manage deliverables end-to-end.

Pay Range

$138,500.00 - $287,600.00 Annual
