Job Description

As a Senior Manager on our Content team, you will play a key role in packaging up our content offerings and relevant industry practices in order to respond to the needs and sell business to our clients. In addition to selling in the content space, a Senior Manager on our team will also be expected to play a lead role in the delivery of sold engagements. This role is a balance between selling and delivering as a content SME. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with strong skills in writing and delivering sales stories – as well as experienced in client service and program delivery.

A dynamic leader and guru within the content and digital marketing arena at an agency or consultancy. You thrive on solving client business challenges in new and innovative ways. You understand the critical importance of content in today’s marketing landscape and how to build effective content infrastructures, operating models and strategies to drive business results. You are experienced in consulting with senior levels clients, including the C-Suite, across industries and selling in new ideas, programs and content technologies. You are a master storyteller and can develop proposals and deliver presentations with your eyes closed.

What You’ll Do:

+ Help identify, qualify and close content sales opportunities in collaboration with the Content Practice Lead, providing deep content expertise and leadership to solution, support stand-up and service our client engagements

+ Build on our relationships with our clients and internal teams by developing proposals and that lead to unique and breakthrough solutions/ideas leveraging the power of content

+ Oversee the development of communication and marketing strategies and programs as well as the development and execution of relevant content for B2C and B2B audiences

+ Identify and staff new projects with the skilled resources needed to deliver against the scope and margin targets set for the project

+ Lead content teams across all areas of content such as, but not limited to, scaled dynamic content, DAM implementations and platform assessments, content strategy and content development

+ Lead and respond to RFPs

Here’s what you need:

+ Minimum of 10 years’ experience across digital marketing strategy and delivery at an agency or consultancy

+ Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Digital Content Project Management (web assembly, email, banners, print collateral, signage) with demonstrated ability to critically assess a project or process to identify improvement opportunities

+ Minimum of 7 years experience with large-scale digital content implementations, content technologies and content production

+ Minimum of 5 years experience with developing and executing content strategies within a data driven marketing environment using scaled content services and multiple channels

+ Minimum of 5 years experience as a lead content strategist with demonstrated ability to create a multi-channel content plan/proposal and present to clients

+ Minimum of 5 years experience working with and implementing DAMs, CMS, CRMs to support scaled content execution and personalization

+ Minimum of 6 years experience creating content and content strategy deliverables such as content architecture’s, messaging roadmaps, channel distribution frameworks, personas and journey maps

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience in a similar role

+ Familiar with pricing models and building financial solutions

+ Maintain an understanding of emerging digital and content trends

+ Understanding of the keys to successfully standing up a new content service (in-housing and outsourcing)

+ English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our North America Market. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking multi-national teams, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement .
