The Food & Beverage Purchasing Coordinator oversees the food storage areas, orders food products and other item, assists with food cost analysis, coordinates the food safety program, and performs other duties in support of the Culinary Team. Among your duties as Food & Beverage Purchasing Coordinator: Overseeing the food storage areas to ensure food is stored appropriately and in accordance with Health Code. Ordering all food products, kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, general supplies and helping with sourcing of large capital expenses. Assists with monitoring and maintaining food cost to ensure it is in line with annual budget. Leads the second floor team's food safety program with self-inspections to ensure we are superseding the health code. Also is our lead NEHA proctor for the hotel, coordinating food safety certification trainings Oversees receiving of all food and beverage invoices into Adaco. Supports material handler for front-line contact for any customer requiring assistance in regards to receiving and loading dock. Overseas the cleanliness and organization of the loading dock. Manages liquor tracking log (receiving section) Sources new items (food, equipment, tools, supplies, and the like) to ensure the hotels kitchens are operating at the highest standards What we are looking for in a Food & Beverage Purchasing Coordinator: We are seeking candidates who have the right combination of education, food & beverage experience and experience in purchasing food items. Experience in handling logistics of warehouse stores, inventory storage preferred. NEHA (National Environmental Health Association), ServeSafe or similar certification in food & beverage sanitation and safety. Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
