Parsons is offering a $25,000.00 sign on bonus to the candidate that is selected to fulfill this position. Sign on bonuses are subject to terms and conditions of employment as well as being subjected to applicable taxation.

Required:
•        This position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense TS/SCI level security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.
•        Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technical discipline with minimum of 2 years of industry experience. Relevant experience, applicable training and/or certifications may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.
•        Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
•        Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative/distributed team environment.
•        Experience in object-oriented analysis and design techniques.

Desired Skills:
•        Java application development experience.
•        Spring Framework Java application development experience.
•        Java Enterprise (Java EE) application development experience.
•        Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Commercial Cloud Services (C2S).
•        Experience with Kubernetes software development and deployment (e.g. Docker, Rancher, Helm, Kustomize, Istio).
•        Web Service experience developing REST and/or SOAP web services.
•        Experience developing micro-services.
•        Experience working with web service data formats (e.g., JSON, JSON-P, XML).
•        Web application development experience (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).
•        Experience with Apache Accumulo NoSQL Database.
•        Relational database development experience (SQL).
•        Experience with asynchronous messaging frameworks, (e.g. ActiveMQ)
•        3D Graphics application development experience (e.g., OpenGL, WebGL, Vulkan, Space visualizations).
•        Experience with collaborative development tools, for example; source control (e.g., Git, Mercurial, SVN), automated build tools (e.g., Jenkins), automated deployment tools.
•        Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g. Puppet, Ansible).
•        Rust development experience.
•        C++ development experience.
•        Experience porting Fortran to modern languages.
•        Linux Experience
•        Experience with scripting languages (e.g., bash, DOS).
•        Experience with application security.
•        Experience with space domain.
•        Security+ Certification

Salary Range: 

$121,900.00 - $219,400.00
