Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Position performs payroll, personnel and accounting duties for department of Neurology. Handles designated Neurology sections. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Inputs and audits assigned academic and non-academic biweekly and monthly sources, adhering to established deadlines. Prepares cost transfers and journals adjusting when necessary monitor through to completion. Works with hiring faculty, managers, and supervisors for the onboarding and off boarding of new/term employees; system access, training requirements to be compliant, access to areas on campus. Audits reports for problems, imbalances, counts, etc. to assure correct data. Maintains job description on all employees & updates management of all new, transfer, and terminated employees. Coordinates probationary and annual performance evaluations through to completion. Is the E-PAR coordinator for the E-PAR system. Obtains data, distributes reports/ forms. Generates verification letter requested by Administration/employees, submits all replacement ID badges and card swipe access. Monitors and obtains updated Licensure and certifications renewals for required positions. Assists Manger of Admin Services with special projects. Preferred Qualifications College courses in business or accounting. Working knowledge of computerized systems and/or Peoplesoft payroll software with ability to use routine office equipment. Must have strong communication/organizational skills, verbal and alphanumeric ability. Use discretionary judgment. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent high school certification and two or more years experience in bookkeeping, payroll, accounting or business. Grade G07-H Salary Range $17.83 - $27.64 / Hourly The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
