Position Purpose:

The Digital Finance (DF) team is part of the Corporate Controller Team (CCT) and is comprised of integrated competency centers that help drive value realization. DF helps finance leaders transform the finance function by moving away from traditional, highly manual transactional processes in a backward-looking function to a predictive and proactive mindset powered by intelligent insights and automation. DF serves as the digital hub for the CCT and works cross-functionally with business partners in Finance and throughout Home Depot to support the company's strategic objectives.

The Senior Data Analyst for Low Code No Code Applications will work directly with the Senior Manager of Digital Finance as an essential part of the team in developing Low Code No Code digital applications and workflows to support a variety of business functions leveraging platforms like Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Smartsheet, and Zendesk.

The role will help plan, conduct, and develop efforts based on Low Code No Code platforms. They will be responsible for the conceptualization, development, and implementation of digital applications. They will continually assess the performance of systems to identify and correct problems, which impact operational efficiency and work quality.


Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
- Establish reporting standards and best practices.
- Architect and implement a reporting framework.
- Oversee data mining efforts.
- Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, UX designers and end-users to determine requirements.
- Data analysis, development of SQL scripts, stored procedures & triggers, and report generation.

- Data Cleansing/validation
- Prepare data load scripts for mass data load from various data sources

1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:
Expert experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL script development.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 - 4  years of experience in low code tools, analytics, or finance
  • Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions              
  • Proactively solves problems & seeks ways to improve processes
  • Previous experience working with customers to capture and define requirements             
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail       
  • Knowledge of APIs and experience with software integration      
  • Ability to diagnose application issues and to decide what can be done with low-code instead of traditional coding  
  • Must have experience working with low-code no-code applications such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps), Smartsheet, Zendesk, Google AppSheet              
  • Experience with building proofs of concept         
  • Deep understanding and experience in developing digital applications
