POSITION DESCRIPTION                       

Position Title: Prepress Sales Account Manager     

Department:    DGS

Supervisor:     Vice-President of Sales and Operations

LOCATION:  Burbank, CA

GENERAL PURPOSE:  Be the primary liaison between the customer and internal Prepress team for the supply of all graphics, creative and pre press work out of Burbank. Sustain and expand relationships with existing customers as well as develop relationships with new customers.

Manage client requirements
Project timings and deadlines
Color requirements including general color, white plates etc
Understand client briefs and build on these for execution in the studio
Deliver proofs, take feedback, liaise with the studio and re supply updated proofs
Effectively communicate with client, pre press studio and print liaison be that print sales rep, print production manager or printing plant
Proactively prioritize workload according to release dates and print production lead times, to guarantee the smooth running of the account
Keep internal systems up to date to ensure accurate reporting
Attend weekly client meetings/conference calls (as defined by the client) and ensure all necessary data is available
Deal with any challenges in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the client
Liaise with CSR to manage monthly billing
Maintain an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
Provide training, guidance and support as required
Manage KPI reporting internally and into the client
Escalate any issues that do not have an immediate solution to the appropriate lead
Collaborate with the wider WestRock group on special packaging projects
Engage internally and externally, in person and via Teams / phone in a professional manner
Maximize opportunities within accounts.z Develop and grow sales wherever possible in order to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Provides customers with value-added solutions wherever possible
Creatively solves problems to achieve the greatest customer experience
Performs other job duties as assigned.

Good Microsoft Office skills (mainly Outlook, Word and Excel)
Good understanding of graphics and Creative Cloud, proofreading, and the printing process
Experience, knowledge or interest in the Home Entertainment industry, pre press, print and packaging
Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
Must have strong time management, interpersonal, problem solving, conflict resolution, and collaborative selling skills.
Must have the ability to write simple correspondences.
Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
Good use of basic math in order to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, volumes, revenues etc
Must be able to answer the telephone and or engage in Teams meetings via video and provide information or assistance to customers
Must pass color vision and color hue tests
Must be able to maintain good attendance
Must be willing to work overtime as needed
