The Opportunity

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer plays a key part in the success of the maintenance department and is responsible for ensuring minimal downtime of the production printing and converting machinery.

How will you impact WestRock

·        Carrying out planned preventative maintenance toensure maximum efficiency of the production process.

·        Fault finding diagnosis and repair.

·        Specific responsibility for Electrical and Electronic repairs to KBA printing and Bobst converting machinery.

·        Mechanical machine repair as and when required.

·        Responsibility for good repair and upkeep of the building and its facilities to comply with legislation and company procedures.

 

What you need to succeed

·        Ideally City & Guilds trained with an HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.

·        17th Edition certificate preferable, but not essential.

·        Adaptable technician with experience working with PLC's, AC/DC motors, drives and controllers,ideally within the packaging industry.

·        Experience working with KBA and Bobst machines advantageous.

·        Adaptable fault finding and rectification skills.

·        Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.

·        Must also be self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
