The Department of Developmental Biology at Washington University School of Medicine invites applications for a Scientific Director at the Instructor level. We are seeking an outstanding colleague with an interest in any area of developmental biology, stem cells, and/or aging to work with department faculty and leadership to enhance the scientific environment and advance research.
This role will direct all research-related operations and communication while ensuring overall effectiveness, compliance, and consistency. This is a scientific administrative role that will provide editorial support for grants, manuscripts, websites, and other types of communications. The successful candidate will work closely with the Department Leadership and Faculty to facilitate collaborative research in the department, serving as a liaison with the administration and advancement office.
We invite applications from individuals with a Ph.D. in the relevant areas of developmental, regenerative, or stem cell biology, as well as aging, and with outstanding writing and communication skills. Preference will be given to those with postdoctoral experience in relevant research areas.
Review of applications will start July 1, 2022, and will continue until the position is filled. This position will be appointed on the research faculty track.
