Job Description
The Executive Director, Resource Management and Cost Strategy will lead a body of new and exciting work with matrixed responsibilities in finance and business to lead initiatives and enhanced management reporting across HCB. The function will work to optimize investments and resources to improve the profitability and competitiveness of our health care business segment offerings.

The selected leader will be accountable for development of strategic cost analytics across all HCB operating expense lines to yield detailed & actionable insights on trends and uncover opportunities for optimization. Additionally, role will be responsible for establishing new coordinated processes with HCB teams across lines of business, functions and Business Planning & Performance Management (“BPPM”) to better understand historical performance and inform forward looking decisions (investments, reforecasts, strategic planning).

The role will also oversee FP&A activities for all of Underwriting, Actuarial, Digitization and Value Pool Enablement ("UAD/VPE'). This role will influence and partner with HCB executives as well as shared services, including digital, IT, and enterprise investments.
This position will be responsible to:

• Lead critical projects across HCB Finance and VPE/Transformation Solutions, underwriting and actuarial
• Develop strategic cost analytics (visuals, sensitivities, summary reports for senior leaders)
• Build and lead insightful processes to improve transparency, accountability and cost profile
• Develop and oversee KPIs and metrics of investments and initiatives; e.g., return on investment of capital, resource alternatives etc. to
prioritize and make funding decisions from various business initiatives requests and ideation. Communicate and simplify decision making
• Manage monthly processes for transparency and leader information in MOR/QBR on status/execution.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 131500
Maximum: 289300

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
• 10 years progressive finance, project management, strategy and matrix stakeholder alignment required
• Experience developing strategic cost analytics (visuals, sensitivities, summary reports for senior leaders)
• Experience in creating processes to improve transparency, accountability and cost profile
• Experience developing KPIs and metrics of investments and initiatives; e.g., return on investment of capital, resource alternatives etc. to prioritize and make funding decisions from various business initiatives requests and ideation. Communicate and simplify decision making
• Experience with MOR/QBR on status/execution.
