**SUMMARY**

The QA IT Lead will be responsible for Quality Assurance for all projects within 1 or more project vertical markets. Will establish project priorities and manage the activities of the QA Consultants, Specialist, Analyst, contractors, RyderTemp and interns within the team, delivering each project within the established commitments, ensuring quality, performance and conformance with established specifications. Under general direction, the QA IT lead carries out procedures to ensure that all information system products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

Ensure that the Ryder QA methodology is adhered to on all projects under their control. As part of a continuous improvement program, review and revise, as necessary, the quality assurance objectives and processes, including definition and implementation of the environment and infrastructure of quality assurance. Participate in defining overall releases, engineering infrastructure, review and revision of quality metrics and measurement systems. Key Responsibilities include: review compliance with current standards and procedures for project business requirements documentation, testing documentation and measurements; identify, improve, and implement standards for QA processes;train team member’s on Ryder’s QA methodology;assists in the research and implementation of appropriate QA productivity and testing tools; development and maintenance of QA Estimation Tools-Provide leadership with Project Management tools and techniques

Create test data, test cases and test execution for applications. Documents and works to resolve all complex problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future organization and improvements. Resource will act as subject matter expert in assigned areas. Performs complex work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements.

Staff, coordinate and manage all QA Projects and a group of QA Testers. Provides test automation, security test and performance test guidance to all testers in the QA team by being involved with project level work as needed. Performs and leads tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.

**Performance Test lead responsibilities**

+ Involve in designing the next evolution of high-scale performance testing strategy for the mobile, web and API services and provide technical assistance to improve system availability, performance, reliability, and scalability.

+ Should be able to Manage and support, Test Scripts Development, Test Data Preparation, Test Environment & monitoring tool Setup

+ Perform proof of concept on tools and methodology as applicable

+ Ability to plan, work across teams to establish baselines, design/build Tests and execute

+ Partner with the various software infrastructure teams to optimize system performance includes Non-functional requirement gathering, planning, workload modeling, Performance Bottleneck identification

+ Result oriented professional in performance testing / Engineering activities which includes Non-functional requirement gathering, planning, workload modeling, Performance Bottleneck identification.

+ Immense experience in Load, Stress, Endurance, availability, capacity testing and performance bottleneck identification.

+ Rich experience in JVM Monitoring and Tuning, Heap and thread dump analysis, Database monitoring

+ Troubleshooting performance issues to identify the root cause and resolve issues

+ Enable automated testing in the context of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD)

+ Evaluate technical feasibility of testing solutions/designs in wide range of technology platforms.

**EDUCATION**

Bachelor's degree Computer Science/Engineering/Technology.

**EXPERIENCE**

Seven (7) years or more experience Quality Assurance software testing

**SKILLS**

+ Demonstrate managerial skills including but not limited to the following areas: delegation, team development, effective communication skills, and leadership

+ Self-Motivated, Ability to work independently.

+ Strong Project Management Skills

+ Excellent documentation and communication skills. Must be flexible and motivated and work well as part of a team

**Knowledge**

+ Experience in Quality Assurance, process and procedure experience with Test Plans and Test Scripts - required

+ PC proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - required

+ Hands on experience in C#/Javascript/ Java, Jmeter/Blazemeter/Performance center/Neoload/LoadRunner, HTTP protocols, Webservices/SOAP & REST, CICD with Cloud computing, APM Tools, ORACLE/SQL, Git, Agile - required

+ Knowledge on Azure DevOps - preferred
