Job Description: The Assistant Director for Student Veteran and Military Recruiting manages and oversees recruitment activities by developing and implementing strategic plans to recruit transfer, Veteran, current military personnel, and military family member students to Syracuse University. S/he serves as the campus-wide resource providing expertise, guidance and support to the University, College, and School recruiting efforts, admissions, and financial aid offices and prepares reports regarding recruitment and admission of Veterans, currently serving military students, and family members. S/he develops and implements a transfer and Veteran recruiting training strategy designed to train Syracuse University field recruiters nationally and globally.
