Job Description ThePine Manor Institute for Student Success at Boston College was created out ofthe integration between Boston College and Pine Manor College in May of 2020. ThePine Manor Institute for Student Success at Boston College is a year-round,free post-secondary readiness program designed to serve underrepresented andunderserved first-generation students through a rich and diverse pre-collegeand college curriculum with the vision of fostering and inspiring academicgrowth, social development and personal enrichment. The Pine Manor Institute (PMI) will have four components: The Academy - Designed for students in grades 8-12. Mentoring and Tutoring/Academic Support - Designed for Boston College studentsand PMI graduates attending other post-secondary institutions. Alumni Outreach - Designed for PMI graduates who havegraduated from their chosen institution. Messina College - A two-year college division of BostonCollege that will offer an associate's degree program. The Data Analyst will have overall responsibility for maintainingand directing the development of the data and systematic programs that providethe infrastructure and creates the platform upon which the Pine Manor Institutefor Student Success operates. The Data Analyst will oversee PMI's core data managementfunctions, such as acquiring all student and program data; processing andpreparing data to ensure that it is of the highest quality and accuracy. Also, ensuringcompliance with all data security requirements and partner schools andcommunity-based organizations. The Data Analyst's main dutiesinclude developing systems, procedures and policies for data management in anew organization; communicating to all constituencies regarding how the data iscollected, sorted and organized and used to best serve the PMI students. A primary responsibility of the Data Analystis to safeguard all data and ensure confidentiality. Requirements The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) and a minimum of 3 years of experience managing large scale databases. The candidate must be a self-starter and motivated to be highly productive and able to work under pressure with time constraints. Must possess the ability to work independently, with limited supervision, or in collaboration as a team. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail necessary. Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $52,400 to $65,500; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
