The USCâ??s School of Cinematic Arts, John C. Hench Division of Animation and Digital Arts is seeking applicants for an open-rank adjunct faculty position at the Adjunct Assistant, Associate or full Professor level, dependent upon experience to teach a practical course on how to model and texture CG characters. We are looking for an experienced CG Modeler who has worked in the feature animation environment. Please submit a CV and current professional reel of work. Minimum Education:   BFA degree in animation or visual arts Minimum Experience:  At least 5 years professional experience as a CG modeler at a major feature animation studio. The candidate should have strong and current working knowledge in all aspects of CG asset creation and have experience in integrating Maya, ZBrush and Photoshop in an efficient pipeline. Preferred Education:  MFA degree in animation or visual arts  Preferred Experience: At least 8 years professional experience as a CG modeler at a major feature animation studio. In addition to teaching experience, 3D concept design and visual effects experience would be preferable.
