You Are

Management Consulting professionals design and implement process and change interventions that integrate strategy, technology and people to enable process improvements that create value for clients.

The Management Consulting Consultant/Manager designs and implements business changes that drive industry-specific, function and digital operating model transformation, focusing on task relating to people and process.

The candidate will be a Consultant/Manager within the Retail Banking Segment with a focus on Business and Technology Transformation within the Payments Platforms.

Accenture's North American Payments practice is responsible for driving Accenture's go-to-market strategies and offerings for our US and Canadian clients, bringing our best offerings, and leveraging our global payment practices and experience. These offerings include:

+ Payment Innovation (e.g., digital payments, wallets, etc.)

+ Card Issuing

+ Retail Bank Payments

+ Commercial, B2B, Corporate, and Transaction Banking and Payments

The Work:

• Consult and partner with our clients to help them develop high performance solutions to advance their industry position in a wide range of payment methods.

•Delivering business change by designing and delivering strategy across the payments value chain and lifecycle (core payments, cards, digital innovation, Digital & Emerging Payments).

•Integrating, simplifying, and improving technology, platforms and processes across card and core payments as well digital and mobile payments to ensure compliance, reduce risk and costs and improve productivity. These efforts will include AI, intelligent automation and Payments-as-a-service.

•Identify ways that Payments As A Service can both increase operational flexibility, reduce costs, and roadmap for implementation.

•Renewing card issuing processing platforms to support cost efficiency and growth in volumes.•Delivering product development across all product families (Card, core ACH, Faster Payments) from market demand, technical feasibility business plan and model to delivering go to market.

•Enabling real time payments and developing real time payments architecture.

•Designing strategies for clients to comply with regulations.

•Developing Business Cases, Project Road Maps and Operating Models to implement complex solutions and systems.

•Synthesizing analyses of the project team into clear, sound recommendations for the client teams

•Reviewing payments process followed by the clients, and suggesting improvements.

•Adapting existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.

•Developing the Banking Payments practice and building Accenture’s Payment offerings, assets and capabilities.

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. Here’s What You Need:

+ 3+ years relevant experience in management or technology consulting professional services firm, and/or 4+ years of equivalent in the banking payment industry

+ 2+ years’ experience working on payments project delivery

+ Bachelor's degree

Bonus Points If:

+ Card processing and merchant acquiring technology consulting, including experience with debit / credit / prepaid card issuing and processing, loyalty, networks (AmExp, Visa, MC), PCI and tokenization technology.

+ Corporate payments technology consulting, including experience with commercial payments product such as SWIFT / ISO20022, Wire, ACH, Real-Time, and other cash / liquidity management transaction banking functions.

+ Exposure to new payment products leveraging custom build or package solution such as Finastra, Fiserv, FIS, ACI, TSYS, NCR, Diebold Nixdorf, Marqeta, IBM, Volante, etc.

+ Exposure to card processing, merchant acquiring, corporate payments application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines OR modern architecture (Cloud, Microservices) and engineering practices (Agile, Domain Driven Design).

+ You’ve got an advanced degree or financial industry certification

+ You’ve got experience selling and delivering financial services projects on time

+ Must be willing to travel up to 80% (Monday - Thursday)
