· Help retailers win in their markets by laying the foundation for strategy design, business development, improving their bottom line, identifying their needs, and finding solutions.

· Identify company’s key cost and value drivers and explain their influence on business performance.

· Perform detailed analysis of business processes , develop operating models, assess implementation readiness, and articulate its implications.

· Draw insights from financial and quantitative analysis and integrate these insights to formulate a strategy driving the implementation and solution roadmap.

· Develop a good understanding of the market nuances for retailers from varied spaces such as fashion, grocery, and general merchandise.

· Define and execute a transformational change plan aligned with client’s business strategy and context for change.

· Guide distributed delivery teams to help understand and clarify requirements throughout all phases of the implementation project.

· Manage proposals, new business initiatives and coordinate with others to create consensus driven deliverables.

· Engage stakeholders in the change journey and help advance the agenda.

Bring your best skills forward to excel in the role:

· A well-rounded understanding of the retail industry , acquired by working directly in the retail or e-commerce industry, or as part of the retail practice of management consulting/analytics firms

· In-depth understanding of how global retail firms operate

· Functional knowledge of at least two of the below retail functions - merchandising, supply chain, store operations, forecasting, replenishment, space planning, digital commerce

· Ability to advise clients on business issues and build credibility to gain buy-in

· Ability to interact with many levels of Accenture management and client counterparts

· Holistic understanding of retail industry and experience implementing best practices

· Proven success in preparing business scenarios , test cases and use cases

· An analytical mindset with strong business acumen

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description:

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

· Play a key market integration role in scaling our distributed consulting business in the North America market

· Grow CN presence in the Retail industry within existing book of business as well as originate new business opportunities and grow account footprint for Capability Network in North America

· Support global sales team to identify opportunities for distributed consulting, solution deals with solution architects, and collaborate to win opportunities.

· Lead teams to deliver projects for global clients and be responsible for serving clients across various functional domains

· Present solutions to customers, especially in an unstructured and ever-changing client environment.

· Understand customer needs, translate them to business requirements, identify business process flows and functional requirements – thereby acting as an interface between business and technology teams.

· Define and implement growth strategies or cost reduction programs for clients

· Develop thought leadership / intellectual capital for the Retail industry

Travel:

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. Basic Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Management Consulting and/or in Retail Industry

+ Minimum of 1 year experience of industry project on data analysis/management and visualization tools

+ Minimum of 2 years experience with Retail MFP platform (with at least one of the following: SAP, BY, Oracle, Relex, Symphony, Infor, etc.), and data analytics & visualization tools (one of the following: advanced Excel modelling, Power BI, SQL, R, Python, Alteryx)

+ Bachelor and/or MBA degree

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Ability to understand and manage strategic client relationships and develop innovative solution to address them

+ Good understanding of the nuances of retail functions and processes, KPIs and business rules across categories such as grocery, fashion, home solutions and so on.

+ Proven sales and business development skills to support selling consulting projects, with a proven record of solutioning winning deals with distributed consulting delivery model

+ Strong problem-solving and structured thinking skills to deliver global strategic engagements for the clients

+ Align delivery expectations across various client stakeholders in a rapidly changing environment

+ Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $159,000-$288,000 and information on benefits offered is here.
