Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Project Manager - Support Equipment Systems to join the Support Systems Team. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get To Do:
  • Manages and oversees the operational aspects of ongoing GBSD program Support Equipment (SE) projects.
  • Serves as liaison between project engineers, internal and external organizations such as Global Supply Chain (GSC), suppliers and management team.
  • Liaises with GSC and suppliers to understand and resolve technical engineering issues associated with delivery of SE hardware.
  • Coordinates and facilitates identification of Support Equipment risks/issues/opportunities and formulates mitigation plans and capture plans.
  • Manages the execution of cost, schedule, and technical aspects of approved risk mitigation/capture plans.
  • Analyzes technical packages and models to identify Support Segment impacts.
  • Participates in working groups and technical reviews to represent Support Segment interests.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and tools for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers. Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, work autonomously under general direction and demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Manages a wide variety of technical projects through collaboration with stakeholder across multiple IPTs, Support Segment leadership, and customer stakeholders exhibiting good verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Provides insights and analyzes impacts of GBSD Weapon System design on SE, training devices and training services.
  • Assists Project Lead and Program Manager with Support Systems Team (SST) organization and operations.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience; 1 year with Master's Degree.
  • US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
  • Experience with technical writing and Microsoft applications.
  • Experience with ICBM support equipment.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Background managing projects for an aerospace company.
  • Hands on experience with equipment maintenance, facilities, proposals, and purchase orders.
  • Current DoD Secret or higher clearance granted or re-investigated within last 6 years.
  • Current SAP/SAR access for GBSD program.

Salary Range: $61,900 USD - $92,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
