Requisition Number: S_220659 Department: Animal Science-0830 Description of Work: Individual will be responsible for daily health of livestock at the feedlot. Will work with veterinarian and be responsible for the health protocols to ensure in compliance. Ability to identify and treat sick cattle via horseback in open pastures, cornstalk fields, and feedlot pens. Knowledge of cattle health protocols and available therapeutic drugs. Ability to keep record of each animal that receives a medical treatment and log the information in a database. Preferred Qualifications: Five years of experience in animal health in different scenarios and with different types of cattle. Posted Salary: $17.50/hr minimum Job Type: Full-Time
