Location: Hyde Park Campus Job Description: Acts as a resource on the basics of clinical research and related aspects of clinical study for colleagues with less experience. Prepares and evaluates writing protocols, IRB submissions, grant applications, manuscripts, reports, and dissemination tools. Partnering with clinical trials manager, supports aspects of daily operations within the clinical trials team, including coordinator assignments, trainings, etc. Manages clinical coordinators in the recruitment of subjects into clinical trials for the Stroke Program, including StrokeNet. Oversees StrokeNet activities including completion of feasibility surveys, coordinator meetings with spoke sites in the region, and education symposia planning. Manages the daily administrative and technical activities in a single highly complex, large clinical trial or multiple moderately complex, concurrent clinical trials. Designs and guides internal and external audits and manages external surveys. Solves complex problems relating to data management and the analysis of large administrative datasets. Works independently to develop, manage, and report on key data and ensures timeliness of data and reporting submissions from multiple investigators. Performs other related work as needed. Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field . Experience: Experience with clinical trials management, and familiarity with at least one computer programming language. Experience managing research teams and projects. Preferred Competencies Ability to interact and communicate with clarity, tact, and courtesy with patrons, patients, staff, faculty, students, and others. Supervisory skills and a bility to work in teams. Strong data management skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects. Adaptability to changing work assignments.
