Overview

The Commercial Advisory function is part of Global Procurement and has its main focus on strategic procurement activities and the generation of value within and beyond savings, especially contra revenues, provisions, and cooperation agreements. We oversee all of Deutsche Bank's third-party spend and are fully committed to uncompromising quality through innovative solutions. Further, we support our businesses in driving state-of-the-art platform solutions with external partners and the development of enhanced commercial models for business relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, lead, and execute "big ticket" commercial negotiations
  • Manages complex sourcing deals and drives the negotiation process and execution for key events/projects
  • Develops strong, productive working relationships with clients at a senior level
  • Collaborate with Innovation Lab, Business Units and Chief Transformation Office for new services, transformation, and Group Management Consulting supported projects
  • Potential areas of focus: crypto, cyber, artificial intelligence, alternative assets, fintech, and neo banks


Your Skills and Experience:
  • Strong focus and insight on revenue enablement: contra revenue, revenue sharing, revenue partnerships, and new revenue growth opportunities
  • Experience in managing complex sourcing projects on a senior level
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong background on Financial Services, especially crypto, cyber, artificial intelligence, alternative assets, fintech, and neo banks
  • Strong team player, able to work in virtual, global teams


How You'll Lead:
  • Support front office stakeholders from Corporate Bank, Investment Bank, International Private Bank
  • Collaborate with key infrastructure colleagues from Legal, Finance, Risk, Human Relations, IT, and Operations
  • Align project and program initiatives with other Global Procurement teams including Procurement & Travel Operations, Vendor Risk Management, and Contract & Supplier Management
