About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Learning & Development Consultant

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for driving the implementation and localization of Wells Fargo's international Learning strategies by providing consultation to APAC HR Consulting and business leaders and by managing the delivery of internationally designed programs and initiatives locally.
Incumbent will have a wide variety of responsibilities to include: overall direction and operations of the APAC learning team which has several highly complex lines of businesses across multiple countries, provide capability building consultation to local business and HR leaders.

Partner with the regional HR teams, the International Talent Strategy team and the wider Enterprise to deliver Learning and Development initiatives regionally

  • Required Qualifications, International:
  • Experience in Learning and Development Consulting, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred. Some aspects of undergraduate and postgraduate education are likely to have a direct link to talent management (e.g. psychology, personnel management, leadership)
  • Minimal 8 years overall HR experience
  • Ability to collaborate, influence and effectively challenge leaders, peers and colleagues in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders, shows executive presence
  • Strong analytical skills to capture and analyze appropriate data to determine trends.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and demonstrated resiliency, adaptability and commitment during times of change.
  • Proven ability to successfully initiate and oversee complex projects of small and large scale.
  • Role models inclusive leadership, collaborates and influences without direct authority.
  • Experience of working in International and/or global roles.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task whilst maintaining clear line of sight to D&I, Talent and OD strategies and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Job Expectations:

  • Consulting with all levels of management regarding current and future developmental needs. Drives key learning initiatives of the organization as it relates to competency based learning, building leadership pipeline etc.
  • Partnering with senior business leaders and the HR consulting team to create overall learning strategy of the organization based on strategic imperatives of the region/function.
  • Creating an optimal learning team structure to deliver effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Owns operational responsibility for APAC learning and development function
  • Providing thought leadership to the Talent organization.
  • Using knowledge of the organization and business direction to allow for innovative initiatives.
  • Articulating the overall capability building strategy of the organization based on its strategic imperatives.
  • Facilitation of learning offerings where required
  • Provides regular D&I and Talent metrics to monitor key performance indicators and evaluate programs. Leverages strategic insights from data trends to implement improvement plans and to address issues in a timely manner
  • Evaluation and reporting key learning metrics for the organization including efficiency and coverage data
