Temporary Job Description: About the Position The position will support the planning for The Kellogg Marketing Leadership Summit, an annual invitation-only Summit sponsored by the Center for Marketing Leadership that brings together over 100 prominent senior executives, Kellogg faculty, and thought leaders from McKinsey & Company and Egon Zehnder. The summit is a signature program for Kellogg. The Project Coordinator provides high-level administrative support and client relations to faculty, executives, and visitors. The position highlights customer service and hospitality, events planning, creative and flexible thinking, and close attention to detail. Engagement in specialized support, coordination and project management of a variety of administrative processes & logistics associated with this event. Principal Accountabilities Coordinates Summit programming: Pre-planning Schedule and conduct kick-off meeting with conference team, faculty sponsor, and organizing department manager Fill out event brief to capture scope of conference and objectives Develop and share conference folder in Sharepoint. Folder will contain - project plan, forecast budget, conference toolkit Schedule and conduct meeting to review and confirm project plan and budget Assign roles and responsibilities Schedule periodical update meetings (bi-weekly) Planning Prepare Conference Master Copy Sheet Build and publish website Build and manage registration page Generate and manage attendee list Prepare attendee communications (save the date, invite, conference communications) Collaborate with faculty to develop program content and manage speakers Plan logistics (food and beverage, accommodations, transportation, photographer, videographer, etc) Qualifications Required: A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience; Strong writing skills; High level of organizational skills and attention to detail; Diligent and can work independently; Experience working with confidential information; Professionalism; Flexibility, adaptability in a fast paced environment.
